London EICR Certificates
Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how London EICR Certificates (trading name of Codeex Maintenance Ltd) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It covers essential storage required for the residential price calculator and booking journey, optional analytics preferences, and how you can change or withdraw consent. It is an operational legal page, not an organic landing page for EICR services.

What this policy covers
Cookies and local storage can remember non-personal calculator selections during a session, record whether you accepted or rejected analytics, and support basic site operation. This rebuild does not use advertising cookies to request a price or booking. Where external review platforms are linked, those platforms operate their own sites and cookie practices.
Personal contact details you type into booking or contact forms are handled under the Privacy Policy. Cookie storage described here is separate from the content of those form submissions.
Essential storage
Essential cookies and local storage may be used to operate the residential price calculator and booking journey, including remembering non-personal calculator selections during a session. These are required for the service to work and do not depend on analytics consent.
Typical essential uses include property-type, bedroom, postcode and parking selections that let the booking page reconstruct an indicative quote context. Essential storage does not replace office confirmation of a visit and does not create a payment obligation by itself.
If you clear site data in your browser, calculator selections may be lost and you will need to re-enter them before continuing on the booking page.
Analytics preference storage
Your analytics preference is stored in browser local storage under the key eicr-consent-v3. Values record whether analytics are accepted or rejected and when the decision was made. Changing the preference updates storage and dispatches a first-party eicr:consent-changed CustomEvent so client scripts can respect the new state.
Preference storage itself is used to honour your choice. It is not an analytics measurement of page views. Rejecting analytics leaves essential calculator and booking storage available.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics help us understand how the calculator, booking and navigation journeys are used. Analytics are off by default until you accept. The published production website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 for visits and controlled interaction events, including successfully saved booking and quotation requests. Microsoft Clarity provides strictly masked recordings and heatmaps on public information pages without forms. Recording stops when you navigate away; booking forms, signatures, quotes and private operational pages are excluded. Events must not include personal identifiers such as full address, full postcode, email, telephone number or free-text form answers.
These services are disabled on review previews and until publication is approved. Google Tag Manager, advertising tags and Meta Pixel are not loaded. Analytics URLs exclude query strings and fragments. Google receives only the external referring website’s origin and recognised public campaign labels to distinguish search and campaign visits. We do not forward arbitrary campaign text, search terms or advertising click identifiers. Form contents, booking references, uploaded files and signatures are not sent as analytics events. Google Analytics may use _ga cookies (normally up to two years); Clarity may use _clck (normally one year) and _clsk (normally one day). Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies. Your browser settings may shorten these periods.
You can accept or reject analytics using the site banner (shown until a decision is stored) or the controls below.

Third-party cookies and widgets
No advertising cookies are required to request a price or booking. No embedded third-party review widgets are loaded on this rebuild. Profile links to external review platforms, where shown, open those platforms’ own sites.
Payment processors, if used later for invoicing offline, are outside the on-page booking request flow described here. This Cookie Policy does not invent third-party tags that are not present in the rebuild.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent the calculator or booking handoff from working until you allow it again. Browser-level controls sit alongside the preference controls on this page.
Withdrawal
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the preference controls on this page. Withdrawal removes this site’s analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop loaded measurement scripts. Essential calculator and booking storage continues to function without analytics consent.
