Documented EICR case · West London
West London EICR: from findings to follow-up
An older installation needed attention to socket protection, bathroom electrics and a loose socket. The original report and later paperwork let us follow the outcome beyond the first inspection.

What changed between the original assessment and the follow-up?
The first report recorded ten observations. They included socket and bathroom protection, the suitability of bathroom equipment, and securing a socket and its cables. The record distinguishes findings that needed attention from recommendations for improvement.
The documented next step
Completion correspondence confirms that the agreed remedial work was carried out. A later EICR for the same installation records a satisfactory assessment. These documents establish the sequence; the case does not infer a particular replacement board, repair method or price.

The assessment, observations, extent and limitations belong together. A count of observations alone does not define the work.
Agree what will be resolved
Use the findings and any necessary investigation to agree the repair scope. Recommended improvements can be discussed separately or included in the wider scope you choose.
Keep the completion evidence
Retain the original report, agreed quotation, completion documents and later inspection record where one is produced.
Evidence and scope
This case verifies a documented assessment change and completion correspondence. It does not publish the signed reports, identify the customer, disclose a job price or claim that a particular consumer unit was replaced.
Original EICR, later satisfactory EICR and completion correspondence reviewed. Reviewed and published . Customer identities and original signed reports remain private.
This example is part of a selected review of 20 reports across 18 installations. The sample describes those records, rather than our total workload or a London-wide failure rate.
